people-sucked (dry-heave boogie)

parched, drought-dragged around like a glass of tender nothing
grasp at emotion with a flair for dead-pan, can-do derring do

this right-spinning spinal drain; taxing the constitution
so we run in wrong-handed circle jerk mood swings

drawn and quartered in an arc of angels and wet dreams
sotted and soiled in the sweat of others' angers

fuck! people suck, rape and pillage all
for black-gold tears of senseless self-absorption

sop the last muther-fucking croc-droplet, consume it
drip, drip

the well is being stingy with her juices
in these danse macabre-drenched days

Attended a peace vigil and then dropped $35+ on a tank of gas the other day and so I wrote this little ode to King George and his Knights of the Square-Peg-in-a-Round Hole Table, and their quest for oil-world dominance...

Hey there Dana-

Your old buddy April here to give my 2 cents on the last few posts that you made.

About the fun subject of gasoline. Is it getting way out of hand, yes. Can Bush release reserves the way Clinton did, yes. But insted of blaming Bush for everything here, why don't people look at themselfs and see how they can conserve gas and make there $$$ go farther. How, well I will write here what I told people when they bitched and moned about to me when I worked for a retail outlet that served gas. Who is carpooling, using public transit where availble, and the biggie with me, who are making wasted trips to the corner store for crap, cant they just get on there bike or walk once in a while. People have the power to do things, yet they don't. So lets look at ourselfs for once too.

As far as the police state, this is just another example of a terrible event happening and goverment going way overboard with laws in a way to show they are doing something about it. No different then passing stupid gun laws insted of police and agencies getting that doughnut out of there faces and working to protect the public insted of harass the publice which seems to be the norm of the day. Terorism in any form won't stop. I can think of many occasions of terror before 9/11 and little or nothing was done. Three in this country I can think of were Oklahoma City, Unibomber, and the Olympic Park bomber. Is this any less terror than what happened, no and guess what, these happened by everyday US citizens, not some Arab or foriegner. So will terror stop, no, it happens in some form everyday in this country. As far as the NY State thing, it happened way before 9/11 with stupid soberity check lanes and stop points, harrassing drivers with illegal checks. Where I moved back to Michigan, found these unconstitutional and don't know how NY gets away with it. Saying it is a police state is going to far by watching documentarys on my favorite channel, the history channel about USSR and Hitler under there leaders, those where police states, but poor work by our agencies is the end result of this. Final words on this, DO YOUR JOB, what ever it is.

I was thinking the other day is what this country needs now is a hybred of a few presidents put together. Here is what I think.

Carter- for his honesty and abilty to negotiate, the best ex-president in our history I think.

Reagan- His speech ability and ability stick to his guns for the better. Forced USSR to table and one of the reasons the cold war is basically over.

Clinton- Management style, for whatever reason, things ran well and went well for the nation under his watch.

These 3 sliced and diced together would make a hell of a leader for any situation.

Well since I have gotten into some real nonsense now, you have a great weekend. I miss ya and hope things continue to go great.
